Sunday 11 October 2015 - GRINDLEFORD

Four out today, Andy, Ian, Simon and Tony ( Baz met us at Handforth but due to a back pain he headed home).

Super day for cycling, out to Grindleford via Rushup Edge, we then split with Simon and I going Stanidge Edge and Ian and Tony going straight via Hathersage.

After lunch we all returned via the gliding club and Dove Holes.

Super day again.

73 miles and 7500ft of climbing.

Sunday 25 October 2015 - Old Ma's, Tattenhall.

Eight at Handforth, Andy, Baz, Dave W, Ian, Mally, Simon, Tony and some other guy poss a mate of Mallys?.

Five made it to lunch. Baz, Mally plus one tailed off after 18miles.

Was down for Beeston but sadly this good cafe is now closed so we opted for The Ice cream farm, upon our arrival we found that despite the place being twice as big as the last time we visited, there were a million kids and a big queue for food, real shame as this cafe has served us well for many years, let's hope cold Winter months bring down the crowds there.

Anyway we did the 1 miles trip along the road to Old Ma's which appears to have gained the cyclists from the Ice cream farm, decent little cafe no good quick service.
